Provides direction, improves process and manages the performance of the Store Design team to ensure uniform and timeous delivery of store layouts. Ensures that layouts are done to maximise the usage of rented space. Manages requests for changes to store plans.

– Management of Store Design team
– As leader, will provide team with clear direction and support to fulfil their roles
– Operations result management
– Manages relationships with stakeholders to ensure store plans are timeously delivered by team
– Improves processes and workflow between internal stakeholders
– Ensures Revit system is regularly updated
– As leader, will provide team with clear direction and support to fulfil their roles
– Manages requests from field management (Stores) for renovations/refurbishments to stores
– Reviews store traits quarterly to confirm spaces allocated to departments and sub departments are correct
– Will assist with ad hoc projects when required

Job Functions Design
Industries Retail
– Tertiary qualification (Degree/diploma) preferably in Consumer Science or Architectural design
– 2-3 years experience in a store planning or architectural environment
– 3 years experience using Revit
– 2 Years experience managing a team will be an advantage
– Project management experience will be an advantage
– 3-5 years retail experience
Google Suite [Advanced Google Sheets; Google Slides (Intermediate)]
– Knowledge of AutoCad
– Knowledge of fixtures and fittings
– Knowledge of F&F system (e.g. Back Office Ordering System) will be an advantage
– Knowledge of store designing and space planning
– Knowledge of council building plan regulations and NHRBC rules
– Numerical aptitude
