PEP has been on a customer centric journey to create exciting designs and fashion trend products for our remarkable customers.
We are looking for talented candidates who identify with our customers needs and want to join our newly established fashion office that has been restructured to follow a design led process.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To design the most wanted product for the PEP customer. To assist buyers with putting together aspirational ranges. Interpreting trends and relating the information for the Pep customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES





Interpreting trends and translating this for the PEP customer.
Seasonal presentations to buying team and Buying Manager – Key Items, Head to toe looks, fabric and design detail focus, marketing messages etc
Creating moodboards, theme and colour palettes for customer (department)
Keeping up to date with fashion, marketing and social media trends always keeping the Pep customer in mind
Assisting in all over print and placement print development
Tracking Sales to ensure customer understanding and sales knowledge
Pre-season product development and designing of volume item move on’s and newness / missed opportunities
Volume item colour and print selection according to season
Present testing opportunities throughout the season to the buying team
Assisting buyers with colour selection, colour workshops, range build and Cading up of new silhouettes.

Requirements
JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS

Fashion Design Diploma or relevant diploma / degree (essential)
5 years design work within a large retail space (essential)
Ladieswear experience (essential)
Working within a manufacturing space would be advantageous (desirable)
Adobe Creative Suite (illustrator/ photoshop/ indesign)
Extensive knowledge and understanding of Fabrics
Garment construction and designing into the PEP price points
Creative flair, passion, distinctive handwriting and able to sell ideas and concepts
Have insights and working experience of discount retail ( advantageous)
Competencies: persuasiveness, presenting, creative, innovative, service orientation, negotiation and influencing, business acumen
