Reporting to the KZN Provincial Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for maximising sales with schools, libraries and booksellers, business development, organising and conducting product presentations and workshops to educators and other key stakeholders as well as coordinating provincial activities.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales targets of front list and back-list titles are achieved
Understand Oxford University Press position in the market
Productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Person will be calling on schools, education officials, key booksellers and libraries to generate sales as well conducting workshops to educators and other key stakeholders.
The successful applicant will need:

A national diploma in education, marketing or sales
Extensive sales experience and proven track record
Relevant training experience
A thorough understanding of the South African school’s curriculum
In-depth knowledge of the education and book trade market
Relationship building skills
Strong facilitation and communication skills
Planning and organizing skills
Report writing skills
Ability to operate within a team
Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle essential
