Introduction
To execute installations, splicer, maintenance, repairs, and fault finding on the LTSA and Managed Services infrastructure across various technologies (IP, Transport, Voice, Optic Fibre and LAN) to ensure continuous services

Specification
MAINTENANCE (PREVENTATIVE, REMEDIAL & CORRECTIVE)
Maintain the Liquid and Customer Managed Services network by troubleshooting and repairing outages to ensure LTSA services are always up and running
Provide maintenance in line with standards
Ensure that all work is completed in line with required safety standards
Communicate with various stakeholders on the progress of repairs or maintenance to track progress against required standards and/or SLAs
Ensure POP site and CPE site quality is to standard
Communicate with various stakeholders on the progress of repairs or maintenance to track progress against required standards and/or SLAs
Quality acceptance testing of contractor work according to specifications





INSTALLATIONS, PROJECTS & UPGRADES
Install new equipment / Optic Fibre in accordance with planned services and quality standards
Asset Management (Capitalisation, transfers and decommissioning)
Confirm performance of new services against the performance requirements
Assist with site surveys and provide feedback for the installation or upgrade of equipment or technology
To conduct necessary adjustments to equipment such as switches, relays and other electrical controlled devices to optimise operating efficiencies

REPORTING AND ADMINISTRATION
To respond timeously to call outs ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to Mean time to Repair rate (MTTR)
To log all activities accurately and maintain records that are valid and reliable
Spares Management – Maintain minimum stock levels through the RFM (Request for material) process
Vehicle Management (reporting and servicing)

Requirements
Qualifications
Technical qualification in TelecommunicationsEssential
CCNA or similar technical certificationDesirable

Experience
1-3 years’ experience in the Telecommunications environment essential
Experience in Networking, cable installations, working with cross-functional teams
