Introduction

A Freight Forwarding Company is seeking a Recruitment and Retention Manager to join their team:

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
Work closely with HR team
Scrutinize Induction / on boarding process
Keep updated on industry related statistics and trends
Understand performance management processes and provide support
Create and implement specific development, succession and other plans
Assist Training and development team
Manage performance appraisals process
Manage job competency and profiling
Manage and lead the grading of all positions
Ensure job descriptions are updated
Create and implement retention, recruitment and on boarding policy
Submit monthly reports
Draft, implement and communicate recruitment policy
Manage recruitment spend
Negotiate best rates / placement fees with agencies
Ensure SLA’s are in place
Take lead on recruitment for senior positions
Assist recruitment team with bench marking, package negotiations etc.
Ensure continuous improvement of processes and procedures

Desired Experience & Qualification

Matric
Degree in Psychology or HR Advantageous
Strong focus on Excel V-Lookups and Pivots
Vision knowledge advantageous
5 years recruitment experience with a minimum of 2 years in a management role
2 years retention experience
Management of recruitment staff and administrators advantageous
