Our National Brands Limited business, centred on the FMCG market, focuses on the beverage, biscuit and snack brands. An exciting opportunity has become available for an Operations Executive to join our Westmead site, reporting directly to the Operations Director.

The Operations Executive will be responsible for all site activities and needs to be a dynamic leader. The successful individual will be required to build a strong culture, provide direction to the Heads Of Departments and motivate teams in order to achieve the Company’s goals.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Leadership and management of the entire site facility with the support of the various HODs
  • Demonstrate astute business awareness focusing on commercial performance
  • Policy and strategy alignment
  • Site cost, quality and service delivery
  • People practices which include:

  • Industrial Relations

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • At least 10 years experience in a manufacturing environment at a senior management level is essential
  • Proven experience in managing a production/manufacturing facility as a Plant Manager / Operations Executive / Manufacturing Executive, etc.
  • Experience in a food manufacturing or packaging environment would be an advantage
  • Exposure and experience in working with a unionised workforce essential
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and application in Risk Management
  • Ability to demonstrate a detailed understanding of Production, Engineering and Inbound Logistics with a broad understanding of Finance, HR, Research and Development, and Marketing
  • Completed Engineering qualification or Food Sciences degree essential
  • Post-graduate qualification ideal
