Pro Staff Select
The client is looking for formally trained, skilled and passionate young chefs who are DRIVEN and inspired by INTERNATIONAL CULINARY TRENDS.
Formal Cheffing / Culinary Qualification from a top chef’s school.
Minimum 3 years fine dining experience within a similar a la carte restaurant or OVERSEAS work experience within Michelin standard restaurants.
Able to manage and run Hot or Cold Section with one Demi CDP & Commis or Trainee Chef.
Working hours: 2 days off per week with 5 x split shifts.
Experience with menus costing & stock controls.
Must have excellent menu writing skills with use of ADVANCED menu terminology.
Advanced PLATING SKILLS with creativity and versatility in using DIFFERENT & innovative plating styles/trends.
Excellent communication skills in ENGLISH both written and verbal with confidence in explaining dishes to guests directly.
Computer proficiency in Excel AND Word essential.
Attach at least 3 photos of YOUR OWN plated work showing plating skills and multiple components.
Include at least 3 cell phone numbers of senior chefs on the team / teams you’ve worked with.
Must be available to do a 1 or 2 day TRIAL SHIFT
