TCOE SALARY COMMENCING FROM R965 778 PER ANNUM • REF.: CS 149/19

 

The Telecommunications Branch has a capital budget exceeding R200 million and an operating budget of R450 million. This position provides financial control and oversight to the Branch. This position is responsible for executing and driving asset, contractual and logistics management for the Branch. The successful incumbent will work closely with the IS&T Finance division as well as the Corporate Services Division.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Performance Areas: • Contribute to the overall financial management of Telecommunications Branch Ensure that all recording keeping and accounting records are properly kept and generate management and other reports as required on a regular basis Manage contract and billing processes and systems; track inventory and manage asset records throughout the asset life cycle as well as ensure supplier compliance with contracts Ensure that the Telecommunications Branch complies with SLA metrics and contracts/tenders Manage the Client Services department People management.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Requirements: • A relevant Bachelor’s degree Qualified Chartered Accountant with IT/Telecoms finance management experience is preferable Up to 8 years’ relevant experience in financial management and administration within an entity or entities of similar size and complexity Experience in asset management, supplier contract management and staff contract management.
