This funky new 5* hotel launched in 2017 offers contemporary FINE DINING cuisines and are looking for a highly skilled and creative Demi Chef de Partie to take on HOT SECTION or COLD SECTION duties for lunch and dinner a la carte at the 56 seater restaurant. The DEMI CDP is responsible for assisting the team of 9 chefs and rotating between sections, and helps with prep, plating and sending out orders. Additional duties include the creation of pre-dinner tapas according to fresh produce available.

The Head Chef is looking for formally trained, highly skilled and passionate chefs with PROVEN ABILITIES and strengths and solid knowledge in a wide range of CULINARY SKILLS & advanced TECHNIQUES.

Requirements:
Formal Cheffing / Culinary Qualification from a top chef’s school.
Minimum 3 years fine dining experience within a similar a la carte restaurant .
Able to do BOTH Hot and COLD Section with creativity in PLATING and assisting on the PASS when needed.
Working hours: 2 days off per week with 5 x split shifts.
Must have excellent excellent communication skills in ENGLISH both written and writing skills
Knowledge of menu terminology and advanced food preparation methods essential.
