This is a permanent College Council position.

The e-Learning Manager is accountable for the implementation and development of e-learning across the curriculum and maintaining the e-Learning strategy of the College. The successful candidate will be tasked to promote innovation in the use of e-learning/blended-learning, teaching and research throughout the curriculum and to enable and support all staff in the cultural and curriculum changes needed to utilise new technologies and learning materials.

•Maintain College’s vision for e-learning capability
•Implement and maintain e-learning platform
•Review College programmes to assess potential for e-learning delivery
•Strategic management of Campus Open Learning Centres
•Participate in appropriate committees to ensure support of blended learning within the curriculum
•Facilitate continued development of College e-Learning Environment
•Responsible for implementation initiative in relation to e-learning
•Facilitate the design of content for the LMS

•Appropriate national diploma or degree
•Educational background
•Sound knowledge and experience of training & development environment
•A minimum of three years’ experience in the use of blended learning, e-learning
•Knowledge of and experience in the use of an LMS system
•Experience in IT
•Experience in managing a team
•Strong written and verbal communication
•Sense of energy & enthusiasm
•Valid driver’s licence

•A qualification linked to blended learning or e-learning
•Registered Assessor
•Registered Moderator
•Sound knowledge of coding and simulation software
•Sound knowledge of virtual reality software
