Introduction

Specification
Technical Work Responsibilities
Assist DoH staff with developing knowledge and skill in QI methodology
Conducting QI site visits and provide input into QI projects
Assist in the facilitation and planning of Learning Sessions and cluster meetings
Utilise DHIS data to inform QI initiatives with DoH
Developing and testing new change ideas at a facility level with DoH Staff
Documenting and distributing QI success stories
Assist in developing reports for Aurum and DoH
Assist in developing QI capacity among Aurum and DoH staff
Continual self-development and keeping up to date with latest developments in the field
Conducting on-going feed-back sessions with Aurum and DoH staff
Continuous communication with QI coach and DoH staff as required by QI coach
Good working knowledge of District health Information System (DHIS)
Attending DOH meetings relevant to QI





Requirements
Education
Matric essential
Diploma or degree preferred
Registered and currently pursuing a tertiary education essentialCertificate indicating training in Tier.net and DHIS essential

Work Experience
At least 2 years’ experience within the Department of health
Evidence of Quality Improvement initiatives conducted at DoH clinics essential

Other Requirements
Proficient personal computer skills essential in Tier.net and DHIS
Computer literate: Efficient in Microsoft office, Excel, PowerPoint, and spreadsheet applicati
Demonstrate knowledge of synthesizing information and presentation,
Must have own car and valid driver’s license, and be willing to travel
