ACDC Dynamics a leading manufacturer, importer and distributor of quality products in the electrical, electronics, pumps, and tools industry is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Repairs Manager to join our driven Team, based at our Head Office in Longmeadow.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The main objective of this position is to plan and execute safe and efficient running of the Assembly, Repairs and Stock Workshops.

RESPONSIBILITIES:





Managing all 3 Workshops (Repair, Assembly, and Stock) with a staff compliment of 32 people
Weekly and Monthly Reports
Running Back Orders and oversee progress of customer and franchise repairs
Meet Deadlines on repairs
Stock control
Monthly stock counts
Monitor productivity of Technicians
Draft Technical reports
Customer Queries – Email/Telephonic
Dealing with Local and International Suppliers
Yearly Stock Take
Motivating, Disciplining, Training and Mentoring of all Workshop staff
Running Daily Top Up Reports
Assisting with Bill of Material
Productivity on Assembly Line
Stock Reports: Stock in and Out, Stock control, Monthly stock counts
Monitor productivity of Technicians
Manage scrapping process
Assist in Building maintenance where required
Ensure effective management and maintenance of workshop facilities, tools, and equipment
Preventative Maintenance practices
Workshop Manager should hold capable hands-on experience in Mechanical, Hydraulics and Automobile Electricals maintenance.
Workshop Manager is responsible for safety of everybody entering workshop premises and all other stake holders.
He is responsible to execute safety parameters/ trainings of mechanics and operators.
Maintain Inventory of all necessary parts.
Collaborate with maintenance supervisor to schedule manpower and resources for the most effective production and maintenance outcomes
WS Manager is responsible for health and safety of technicians.
WS Manager is responsible for executing the activities of workshop to match with required organizational and statutory compliances

Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to work long irregular hours including weekends when required (Saturdays until 6pm on a roster schedule)
Essential N5/N6 Electrical and or Electronic qualification
Should have attained BE/ BTech/ Engineering diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/Electrical Stream from a reputed institute.
At least 5 years’ experience in Electronics/Electrical field within Retail/Manufacturing environment where you supervised teams
Might be expected have to travel within country to support other projects
Work experience in maintenance supervision/planning role in mechanical product manufacturing/service industry.
